It is interesting where life takes you. I was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea. I have spent more than half of my life overseas. I call Germany my home now, and my painting reflects that. I have found peace and happiness being in these rural scenes for the last 16 years. The tranquility and beauty I feel from nature has stayed with me since childhood. I think those images and moments from nature are what I hope to express in my paintings. I strive for unknown challenges, and through the struggle, the creative joy that comes with painting.
